Small-batch, handcrafted soap made with love in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
Rooted in Silk Heritage
Macclesfield was once famous for its silk production. For generations, the town’s mills — owned by the Brocklehurst family — wove some of the finest silk in the world, supplying royalty and fashion houses alike. That legacy of craft, quality, and pride in local making is woven into everything we do.
We named our company Silktown Soap Company in honour of this rich heritage. Just as the silk weavers of old transformed raw natural fibres into something extraordinary, we transform natural plant-based ingredients into luxurious, skin-loving soaps — by hand, in small batches, right here in Macclesfield.

Silktown Soap Company is a small, family-owned business run with passion and purpose. Every bar of soap, every bath bomb, and every hair care product is made by hand in our studio. We believe in knowing exactly what goes into every product — and exactly where it comes from.
We keep our batches small so we can maintain the quality and attention to detail that our customers deserve. No factory lines, no shortcuts — just honest, handcrafted products made the right way.
