Last year we sent some of our handmade soaps and bath soaks to be officially judged by an independent awarding body.
After months of crossing our fingers and toes we were over the moon to find out that not just one but all of the products we had entered were officially award winners, and we were given the Vegan Beauty Award Winner seal of approval.
This was a big achievement for us as the award and we pride ourselves in making all of our recipes from scratch. Months of research and rigorous testing goes into each product we make and only when we are happy, do we get the recipes assessed by an independent scientist (a legal requirement.)
All our soaps use the same recipe so you can be sure you are getting a quality product. We have recently made the decision to alter our base recipes. This was due to the increasing cost and supply issues of Cocoa butter due to poor harvest. We didnt want to do this but as a business we wer left with no choice. The new recipes have an increase in Shea butter and we can honestly say that the resulting soap bars are excellent and quite possibly even better than the original versions.
